Training courses are available in English or Arabic for most ISO management system standards. Courses can be instructor-led (in person or live online) or self-guided. For instructor-led courses, students learn by participating in group exercises and case studies.
A Certificate of Attainment is issued to students who demonstrate the required competencies by passing an exam administered at the end of the course. Students can earn continuing education credits for most courses.

A. Internal auditor course (detailed)
Audience
Multi-day course designed for employees who will be responsible for conducting internal audits (also called “First Party Audits”) within an organization. Upon successful completion, internal auditors will help ensure that your organization complies with the requirements of the ISO management system
standard for which the employee was trained.
Course content
Content of the internal auditor training course:
- Purpose and requirements of the management system standard
- Role and responsibility of the internal auditor in planning and conducting an internal audit
- Principles and good practices of effective internal auditors
- Risk-based approach to plan and conduct internal audits
- Creation of effective audit reports
B. Awareness course (high-level)
Audience
Shorter course designed for senior managers and employees requiring a good understanding of a specific ISO management system standard. This course is recommended for:
- Senior managers and supervisors responsible for reviewing audit reports and taking corrective action in case of non-compliance
- Employees responsible for applying the ISO standard within their department
Course content
The general requirements training course is a shorter version of the internal auditor training.
